Westchester Artist's Guild
This dedicated and supportive art group works in a variety of media which include watercolor, pastel, oils and acrylics. We meet during the school year on Wednesdays from 10-2. A small fee is collected for rental of the facilities. We also experiment with new ideas and techniques. At the end of each session a voluntary critique helps the artists work out problem areas in their paintings. Many members exhibit their work. We schedule trips to exhibitions, workshops and lectures in Westchester County, NYC and the US. We are a lively and very supportive group which has been in existence for many years. No matter what your style or medium, everyone is welcome. We exchange ideas and trade information. Please e-mail or call me regarding this community art group. These weekly workshops take place at St. Bartholomew's Church, 82 Prospect St., White Plains, NY.

THE SKETCHBOOK PROJECT
I am pleased to announce my participation in the Sketchbook Project. This year 28,833 artists from 94 countries submitted a sketchbook for the project. The theme I selected was "I am a Scavenger". The ideas, paintings and collages are based on my search for paper ephemera and my translation of what a scavenger really is. My sketchbook is dedicated to the children of the world who are forced each day to search for food in endless garbage piles.
